How does DRP recruit?

Each assignment is built upon the creation of a partnership with our client to develop commitment on both sides. We take time out to understand our clients, their culture, their business issues and the sectors in which they operate. Before the commencement of each assignment we discuss the most cost effective method of sourcing candidates. We prepare thorough tailored proposals accompanied by detailed project plans. Where practical, a member of our research team will attend preliminary client meetings and briefings.

On retention by our clients we maintain close contact throughout. If search is thought to be preferable we agree target sectors, job profiles and candidate specifications. We confirm target companies in which to search, and submit candidate long lists for client review before potential candidates are approached to determine their interest in the role and to set-up interviews. If selection is the preferred route, we agree the most appropriate media in which to advertise, and prepare the job ad for client approval.

We submit a realistic shortlist. Our objective is that clients meet only with suitable candidates. That might mean as few as two candidates or as many as five. What we do not do is waste our clients' time by putting forward unsuitable candidates just to make up the numbers.
